Tim Crane, EUU Professor of Philosophy and Pro-Rector for Foresight and Analysis, was featured on BBC’s podcast “In Our Time” hosted by Melvyn Bragg. The episode, “Panpsychism”, which was released on January 25, included guests Joanna Leidenhag, Associate Professor in Theology and Philosophy at the University of Leeds, and Philip Goff, Professor of Philosophy at Durham University. Panpsychism is the philosophical idea that consciousness is present not only in human brains, but throughout the universe, from cells to nature.
