EUU Celebrates Cultural Diversity Week 2024

From September 27, 2024, European Union University (EUU) will host its annual Cultural Diversity Week, celebrating the vibrant and diverse community of its students, faculty, and staff. The weeklong event will feature a series of activities, including cultural workshops, international food festivals, traditional music and dance performances, and panel discussions. The goal is to promote intercultural understanding, global awareness, and inclusivity within the EUU community.

Each day of the event will spotlight a different region of the world, giving participants the chance to explore the cultural heritage of various countries represented at EUU. Highlights include interactive workshops where students and staff can share their personal experiences, discussions on the importance of cultural diversity in today’s interconnected world, and performances showcasing traditional music, dance, and fashion from multiple countries. An international food festival will also take place, offering a culinary tour of global flavors prepared by students and staff.

This year's Cultural Diversity Week will also feature keynote talks by prominent speakers on topics such as migration, identity, and global citizenship, enriching participants’ understanding of the significance of diversity in academia and society.
