Important dates
Application dates for courses and programmes at bachelor's and master's level for international students that want to apply to study at European Union University.
Our international Bachelor's and Master's programmes commence in the autumn semesters. If you wish to apply for one of our independent courses they mainly start in the autumn semester and some in the spring semester. There is also a limited choice of courses taught in English during the summer at European Union University.
All applications are made via euu.edu.eu, with the exception of exchange students from partner universities.
If you are applying as an exchange student, please follow the dates and instructions from your international coordinator.
Two admissions rounds
There are two admissions round for each semester. The first (international) admissions round and the second (for national and EU students primarily) admissions round.
Please note that many of our international master’s programmes are only open during the first admissions round regardless of an applicant's background.
First admissions round
All international students are encouraged to apply in the first admissions round of the autumn semester to have the time to pay the tuition fees, apply and receive the residence permit (if required), find housing, etc. The first admissions round for the autumn semester is generally open between middle of October and middle of January.
Second admissions round
The second admissions round is an alternative for students with a citizenship within EU/EEA as they do not need a residence permit. Non-EU/EEA students will not have enough time to obtain their residence permit before the start of the semester if they apply in the second admissions round. The second admissions round for the autumn semester is generally open between middle of March and middle of April.

Late application
Some courses and programmes that still have available places after the regular admission round, may open up for late application.
Term dates
The academic year at European Union University starts in late August and ends in early June.
